Saturday was my fourth time there and the first time we ordered the pizza. Before, we had the salad and appetizer items. We loved the buffalo chicken pizza. My son spilled a water on half of it when he was getting another piece and it was so good that we still ate it. We dabbed as much of the water off of the pizza with napkins and still ate it like nothing ever happened. Great ooey gooey pizza!

I really like wicks whenever I come home from the east coast. Maybe I'm just used to the fast pace and over communicative nature of the east coast but I find it kind of rude when the take out cashier can't communicate when an order will be ready when already 45 mins has passed from order submission. Other than that... Pizza is awesome. They need to get their "process and people" problem fixed.

I was there with my son during his spring break, off lunch hour. Because of the time of the day we picked, thank god, there were no children. Parking was hard to find. Pizza tasted o.k. Atmosphere reminds me of Shakey's Pizza from California. If you dislike children, you should avoid Tuesday because kids eat free. Cheap eats, my son liked it, as for me, this place would not be the first place to pick to order pizza around the tri-state area. I would pick, Mellow Mushrooms, Ma Zerellas, Arni's, and then, Wick's Pizza.

We went in on a a cold Friday night and it was pretty empty. So, it didn't take long for anything. Got a couple of beers, pizza, Breadsticks and salads. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet to our 5yo son. She was always attentive to him as well as U.S. and did what all wait staff should do, look at him and ask him what he wants to eat and drink. Her name was Devon. I would like to go back soon to try some of their other pizzas. We got the Cajun BBQ chicken pizza. It wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't bad either.

Food was great and the family had a really nice time. We will be back. BTW The Big Wick is the BOMB!

Wicks is wicked! The pizza is so Cheesy and the sauce is sweet and sour just the ay I like it! Plus the have Triva on Tuesday nights. Haven't vice led it out yet on a Tuesday but when I went during March madness they had a mad deal running for 2 free apps with an order of a specialty pizza. The only reason this wicks is getting a 4 out of 5 is because they screwed up our order 3 times but in the end it was all good because we got major discounts and a free pizza a and salad!

After my previous visit to the New Albany location I was encouraged by the good people of Wick's to pay another visit. Well I did and they hit a home run this evening. The Boss' Favorite with green olives, jalepenos & chicken was a tasty treat on cracker thin crust. More importantly the pizza was ready exactly on time and compound this with a friendly staff that did a great job on a Friday evening and you have a recipe for a very good evening. I would rate this visit at 4.5 out of 5

My family and I have alway come to your restaurant when we want Italian food, but the last 3 visits to wicks has been nothing but the worst experience I've seen in a restaurant. The problem this time is we sent our order in on their on line ordering. They have to have the worst system around, even the girl talked to even agreed. When I went to pick up my order they didn't know what I was talking about. So I had to order again. Well when I got home the order was wrong. I generally call and report this, but I will never be back again. Thanks for nothing. My name is jim elliott. 1502-727-2855.

I love a Big Wick. All that meaty, cheesy, fresh vegetable-y goodness layered onto a delightful crust makes me all gooey. The service at this location was top notch, albeit a little loud. We arrived about an hour before closing to an almost empty dining room and were seated immediately by a friendly, smiling young woman. Our order was taken promptly and drinks were delivered on the double. The staff was cleaning up and bustling about so they were shouting to each other and talking loudly which was a little annoying to Spawn B. Personally, I didn't really mind that sort of banter. It illustrated that the staff was at a minimum content and cooperative with one another. The pizza at this location is just as tasty as the pizza at the location on Bardstown Road. We always leave with leftovers. Given that this location is, generally, less crowded, I think we'll be visiting more often.

Great pizza at a great price. If to love a thick piece of pizza you'll love this. Nice casual atmosphere. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Loosen your belt.

Food was good service left a little to be desired wasn't that busy and the bar staff was a little more interested in the locals but if you are not in a hurry go for it

I sang in a Cabaret at Wick's last night and their staff was AWESOME, from the sound engineer to the bartenders and waitstaff. We weren't sure how many people were going to show up, we ended up having a huge turnout- and they handled it calmly and remained friendly and polite. They had some awesome drink specials, and apps were half-off too! I had a draft beer and some delicious breadsticks and my tab was $4.75!! Whaaaat? It was a wonderful evening of music, friendship, pizza and libations. Thanks to everyone at Wick's.

Great food. We ordered the Wick (supreme) pizza and the Chicken Alfredo pizza. The Wick was a bit salty (the marinara sauce) but the chicken Alfredo was perfect. Very cool spot where there is a stage upstairs along with billboards and darts. We are glad to have stopped by here in our travels through the Louisville area.

Paid $26 for a pizza but they charge .50 for an extra dressing for salads?? Times must be hard that they have to be that desperate! Sat outside service was crappy and slow, sever brought us drinks but never brought napkins and silverware until we asked for it!! This ain't the first time I have have poor service at this location.

For some reason every time we have Wick's it upsets our stomach. We think it may be something in the pizza sauce. Overall we are tired of the menu. It's boring and hasn't changed a bit in two years. We used to go weekly for Tuesday nights but haven't been in three months. I am not sure if we will ever return. One positive is the building is really nice.

We went to check out Open Mic night and had a great time! The pizza was very tasty, and the servers were helpful and attentive. The building was clean, with a mix of old architecture and a modern interior. The entertainment was a mix of comedians and musicians and was a great pairing with the cold beer that was readily available. Between the food, arcade games, pool tables, and drinks, you could spend an entire day here. The best part of the night was that when I got the bill, it wasn't really any higher than if I'd stayed home and ordered pizza. The food and the entertainment was much better, without any additional costs typically involved. I could see making this a regular hangout.

Management is rude to their employees numerous times on several different visits. Pizza good. Go to watch NFL but they have other entertainment SO LOUD on week nights you can't speak to others at your table.

Good spot for a large group! Wicks is kid friendly and BBQ chicken pizza is my favorite. I have noticed that they go through servers like dish towels lately. It seems like every time I am in there they are training a new server. Management please fix the booth table near the register!!

Wick's Pizza is located in New Albany, Indiana on State Street between Market and Main Streets. Wick's is in a spacious old building. The restaurant is large and has a pizza place feel about it. Our waitress was new on the job, but her enthusiasm and personality offset any lack of experience. Wick's is the place of deals, $2 draft Bud or Miller Light last night and two free sides with a 14 inch or larger pizza. Our party was a group of six. The order was a 14 inch cheese pizza, a 14 inch pizza with the works except olives, a Boss pizza 14 inch thin crust, and a chicken sandwich. Most of us chose a salad for the free side. The salad was cool, fresh with croutons, all of us enjoyed our salads. The chicken sandwich was deemed okay. The cheese pizzas crust was thick and lots of cheese. The works pizza had lots of cheese and was heavy with many ingredients. My wife and I shared the Boss pizza with portobello mushrooms, Italian sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was advertised as cracker thin, it was thicker than that, but the thickness was exactly the way I like it. The Boss pizza was not as cheesy as the other pizzas and the other ingredients were not over powering. The Boss is more a pizza you would get in Italy. The group declared this the best pizza in Southern Indiana. I didn't taste any oregano or garlic in the pizza, which I think would have improved the pizza. There was a good crowd at Wicks last night and everyone was having a good time. Our Boss pizza was $14, which included two free salads. House wine was $3.25 per glass. Give Wicks a try, value, value, value.

Brought the kids here on a Saturday Night. Busy busy only a 10 min wait to be seated. Ordered an appetizer and two pizzas. The appetizer came out in 15 min amd the pizza 25 min thereafter. Given how busy they were the timing was great. Food was good and the atmosphere was family friendly. Afterwards we can take a walk down the river which is only 2 blocks away

It's so large....that's what she said. New Albany Wick's has to have the best location in downtown Indiana. This location is located near the river, right off the main street, is two stories, and has a small patio section. I love going to places that no matter your vibe you can have it all in one spot. Interested in just the dive bar scene? - Hang out on the first floor to the left. There is a small stage for acoustic bands and a circular bar that wraps around the bar-tending staff. I like these bars because I get to check out all the other people sitting down. Interested in dinner? - The lower right side of Wicks is more restaurant style, because well it is a pizza restaurant. Interested in dancing the night away? - The upstairs left has a large dance space with live bands and a DJ booth. There is even another bar upstairs to prevent the interruption of shaking your groove thing. Looking for a pool hall? - Well on the upstairs left side has a more VIP feel. There are pool tables, sometimes corn hole boards set up, and some private table areas. On top of all these great atmospheres the staff is awesome. There is never a long wait for a new drink, food is available until later, and I feel super secure with all the visible security staff. This place is just super Wicked....(see what I did there?)

Went for a second time today, this time was for the lunch buffet. The service again was lacking. The waitress repeatedly told us she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off because they were short staffed. They were packed and unable to make pizzas fast enough for the crowd. The pizza is good but I wouldn't suggest going for the buffet because it was too busy.

The bread sticks are my favorite! Also, inside tip if you want a bomb pizza from Wick's ask to sub the Marinara for their pizza sauce. You will thank me later. I always order a cheese pizza with marinara, cooked until extra brown. Makes me want one now just thinking about it.

Good service...but that's where it sorta ends. The salads are small for the price, their were items missing on the salad, and the dressings were from a jar. I also got a pepperoni bread stick, it was a calzone though, but it was ok. When I told the waitress I was picky about my pizza, she warned me to stay away from it. It's a bar, go for the booze.

The pizza here has lots of toppings especially cheese which is the way I like it. We got a sausage and they put the sausages under the cheese which was odd but good. They could use more of a beer selection though. And when the band starts playing it is very very loud. We left because no one at the table could hear each other anymore.

Went to Wicks Sunday around 1pm for lunch. There were only about 5 tables of customers, and one waitress. She wasn't too busy, but was VERY slow. So was the food service.. it took about 20 minutes for breadsticks, and another 20 for the pizza. However, the breadsticks were tasty, freshly baked and well seasoned. The pizza, a Big Wick's, was pretty good. It had a generous amount of toppings, tasty sauce, and the crust was good.. not a thin crust, but not too thick. The edges were soft and chewy. My only complaint is that the center of the pizza was a bit cool, while the edges were nice and hot. The waitress gave us free breadsticks when she found out this was our first visit! All in all, definitely worth a second visit, although if it is as slow next time, there won't be a third visit.

Very tasty and good drink deals. Live music Fridays and Saturdays check the music out! Mixed crowd: families, students, couples...something for everybody. The food will definitely have me stopping by here again though. The garlic cheese bread was just right, Calzone was large and in charge of the table (WINNER), and my boyfriend's baked spaghetti was something to eat on for two days.

Wow! Who new this gem was in New Albany? Not me. We were staying in Clarksville and a gal at our hotel suggested Wick's because we were looking for a place to watch the Ohio State game. We sat at the end of the bar near the outdoor patio so I didn't notice how large the place is until I went to the restroom. There is a whole other dining section on the other side of the bar! Impressive. We had had a large pizza that was half all veggie and half all meaty and ti was really delicious! I loved the super thick crust and the cheese and veggies were piled really high. If I were into eating pizza with a fork, I would have with this pizza. That isn't my thing though so I man-ed up and shoveled that greatness in my mouth while toppings fell all over the place. They have weekend drink specials that are decent and the regular prices aren't horrible either. Bartenders were friendly. I really liked Wick's and will be back to one of the locations the next time I am in the Louisville area!

FAIL! Horrible!!!! Worst service ever. Our family was in the restaurant for several hours and our children never even received their pizza! Upon arrival we had to wait to be seated.. and there was no one around.. hostess booth was empty. there was a sign pointing us to the bar but we had kids with us so we needed to sit on the restaurant side. The place wasn't busy at all yet no one was around to seat us. Finally a young woman who was less than thrilled to be seating us came up and asked how many and table or booth? My wife replied a booth if possible please. The woman then walked off without saying anything and then when she got to a booth she motions for us like "come on!" How were we supposed to know to follow her if she never said anything?! They gave our girls coloring pages and then we sat for a good 10 minutes before they came back to bring us menus. We ordered our drinks and asked for a few more minutes to decide on our meal. 15 minutes later our waiter came to take our order. We ordered an appetizer and two pizzas. 45 minutes later we received our appetizer. One of our pizzas arrived 10-15 minutes later. 20 more minutes pass (because we couldn't find out waiter) and when he finally came past our table we ask our waiter about the second pizza and he says "oh let me go see in the kitchen what's the hold up". He doesn't immediately return... In the mean time a girl busing tables checks on us and we tell her about the pizza that's missing and she immediately goes to check.. She says our waiter said he is taking care of it and A good 15 minutes later he comes back and says something along the lines of "I got on them in the kitchen about your pizza, it shouldn't be much longer.. I'm not sure what happened.". No apologies .. The entire visit we had to ask for refills on our drinks because he walks past several times without even checking on us. Finally he comes up and says "it should be out soon.. Or do you just want to take it off?" We tell him to just take it off and my wife explains how our 4 year old isn't feeling well and we just really need the check so we can go because we've been waiting so long. We had to ask for a box multiple times..by this time Both of our kids are laying across the booth asleep... We wait another 15 minutes for him to come back with the check and the same girl busing tables says "you guys doing ok?" We told her we really just need our check so we can go.. She immediately stops what she's doing and goes back to the register to check on it for us and comes right back to say he is printing it now. The waiter finally comes back and gives us the check and for the first time says he's sorry.. Even if it really was the kitchens fault .. He should have expressed some feeling of sympathy.. Our children are sitting there hungry and we can't enjoy our pizza because we feel horrible they don't have any food. Needless to say we will probably not be going back to this location. We have been to several other locations in Louisville, KY and have had much better experiences. Th waiter was horrible, the hostess was very unfriendly and as a whole it seemed that they cared more about their dance club upstairs than they did the families and parties in the restaurant. You can argue that maybe it was because of the time that we were in there but had the service been what it should have been we would have most likely been out by 9-9:15 which means we would have been gone before the party started upstairs. So in a nutshell we ended up paying 32.50 for our pizza and cheese bread... waited an insane amount of time... had poor service all the way around (except for the young girl busing tables!), half of our food don't show up, and because of the lack of service we were stuck in a club atmosphere with our two young children. We also then had to go buy our kids food from McDonald because it was so late and they were starving. They could have easily corrected things by giving us the pizza we were waiting on so our kids could at least eat it at home .. and I would go as far as to say comp us our meal. Will not be recommending this location any time soon.

First time experience at Wick's, mid-week dinner hour. Lots of buzz in the place. Ordered veggie salad and Sicilian pizza. Salad was wet, minimum ingredients arranged along the edge of bowl? Not sure what that was about. Waitress was slammed with 2 large parties, while there were other wait staff including manager or owner in the room. Manager busy schmoozing with 1 large party, not really into the service happening around him. Our pizza was skimpy on the meat and undercooked. Sent it back and came golden on the bottom; yet waitress missed asking us if we were happy with that. The music volume was increased as we were ending the meal; extremely loud bouncing off brick walls. Not memorable, had better and made better. Pricey for what you get. A twist-my-arm rating to return.

How am I the first person to write a review for Wick's on State Street? If you're familiar with the other Wick's pizzerias this one lives up to their standards. Solid pizza that is heavy on the sauce and heavy on the toppings. I love their wicky cheese with green olives and onions. This pizza has enough cheese to construct a pillow and that's the way I like it. The only other pizza I like better in this area is the roundhouse at Richos. But guess what, Richos wont deliver. Wick's will. I love you Wick's. Don't ever change or listen to these pansies who like to eat a little cheese and tomato on a cracker and call it a pie. The toppings are fresh, the saucy savory and the crust a little sweet. Wick's pizza touches on all bases leaving all other delivery pizza in a shadow of shame.

This is a fine choice for dining, although it can be crowded on a weekend night. My least favorite time is the late-night scene, which has become really skanky, but that's the only thing that's open in downtown New Albany, so that's where everyone goes. The food is good, though. Solid pizza. Their salads leave a lot to be desired.

Wicks is the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. The spinich Alfredo pizza is amazing and so is the mighty meaty pizza. Thursday nights is my fav with $2 wells and wed night is Wicky Wednesdays with $5 pizza buffet and $1 domestic drafts. It is an awesome place!!
